So few players needed a full training session that the management decided to join them in a game, so José Mourinho, Steve Clarke, Silvino, Brito, André Villas, and masseur Mauro Doimi were pitting their wits with or against the likes of Shaun Wright-Phillips, Gérémi, Paulo Ferreira, Magnus Hedman and Carlo Cudicini.
Hedman played in the field and wore a Lampard shirt with Number 8 on it. He claimed that's why he was in the winning team. Several of the losing side claimed the reason Magnus was in the winning team was the refereeing of Rui Faria. Rui happily confirmed this.

Most nézem a Chelsea - Wolverhampton mérkőzést (igazából most lett vége) a sport 2-n, Hasselbaink formában volt: csereként mesterhármas. A másik legjobb Duffer. Az eredmény 5-2

Mióta a három dán otthagyta a Milant, (Laursen, Helveg, Tomasson) Flo pedig a Sienát, újra lesz kinek "szurkolnom" a Seria A-ban!!

Marcello Lippi (58 ), a korábbi Juventus és Inter edző, legutóbb az azzurrikat vezette a vb-címig Németországban tavaly nyáron, merész kijelentést tett: szerinte készen áll egy nagy angol klub vezetésére. Mivel a cikk természetesen a Sun hasábjain jelent meg, a szavahihetőség kétséges, de inkább valószínű, hogy nem teljesen így hangzott el a dolog:
"I'm aware that I'm on the wanted list at a number of big clubs, but specifically at Chelsea, and I regard that as only natural," Lippi told The Sun.
"I know I'm a good coach and if anyone is surprised about top clubs like Chelsea wanting me, then I just point to my record.
"I have coached teams which have reached the Champions League final four times, I've won Serie A five times and of course the World Cup, too.
"I'm ready, willing and enthusiastic to coach in England...
"There are already a number of foreign coaches working in England, so I cannot see why people might say that Chelsea is not the place for me.
